A Note from the President - 2010

Howdy,
Jeff Routledge here and president of TR&R. I am so honored to announce that we have appointed the new Executive Board of Directors for Trancas Riders and Ropers 2010. The new Board roster is as follows:

....and these folks will serve alongside the Elected Officers you chose on February 2nd which is myself as President, Bonnie Decker as Vice President, Peg Routledge as Secretary and Shari Bernath-Latta as Treasurer. We also have the advice and council of Rod Bergen as our Parliamentarian. Please feel that you can contact any one of us with your ideas and your input on how we can further make the Equestrian Community in Malibu flourish and thrive. See you on Sunday at our 1st event of the year - the Hunter Equitation Show. And don't forget our clinic next Sunday with Aaron Wilson for Dressage fitness. We are looking forward to a fantastic year of clinics and family fun in addition to our series of shows, and all are welcome to come and be part of this awesome community.

We want to THANK the entire Trancas family for your continued support and generosity. We especially want to thank Victoria for the many years of benefit shows she has organized for the Compton Jr. Posse and her wonderful instruction to the CJP riders. We Salute you Victoria. We also want to give a special shout out to Emma and Anna Blackwood and the Malibu High School team for your benefit shows this year. We really appreciate your help. The Andalusian

this is a report I did for school.... The oldest breed of horse in the world is the Andalusian, a beautiful and skilled animal. This is the Purebred Spanish horse, one of the two sub-breeds of the Iberian horse, the other being the Lusitano. Many people often mix the two up, because there is almost no visible difference.
